The brief
Explain a tooth preparation procedure to patients in a way that is clear, accurate and not frightening, without filming inside a real mouth.
The result
We built a photoreal 3D model of the jaw, teeth and dental handpiece and directed a 25-second animation that moves from the full jaw to a close view of the burr preparing a molar. The same model can be reused for other procedures and stills.
